Joint Industry Board

The Joint Industry Board presented the 100 000th ECS Gold Card to T Clarke’s Harry Rowe at London's Goring Hotel recently. The presentation marks a milestone in the continued progression and acceptance of the ECS as an industry-recognised scheme which confirms technical competence and health and safety awareness. Michael Latham, chairman of the JIB, says: “There are dire warnings of skill shortages in the not too distant future, so praise must be generously given to companies which make such a considerable contribution to skills training.”
