IP surveillance

JVC’s new fully-functional IP network dome camera – designated the VN-C655U (B) – offers both high resolution and total functionality for remote and IP network viewing systems.

High resolution images are produced using a highly accurate ¼” interline transfer CCD. The cameras feature 25x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom.

All images are output in motion JPEG format at resolutions of up to 640 x 480 (and maximum frame rates of 30 frames per second).

The dome camera communicates over 10/100 Base-T and incorporates a web server and FTP Server/Client to allow virtually unlimited access.

Designed for the toughest applications, the cameras’ additional features include variable PTZ, motion detection and privacy marking to protect selected areas from intrusive monitoring. The 360 degrees per second endless panning, auto-patrol and 100 pre-set positions allow the cameras to immediately pinpoint a location should an alarm be triggered.

The VN-C655U (B) can capture high quality colour pictures at low light levels, while an in-built infrared cut filter captures scenes at night. Another built-in feature is the extended dynamic range to give images perfect illumination in all areas of the image.
