Keith Way, Sales and Marketing Director responsible for operations and performance of Kaba’s service centres explained: ‘We chose the LT35 because it has a generous load capacity, easy access for loading and unloading, excellent fuel consumption and emission levels, while still having a modern design. The Volkswagen LT35 is also fitted with a range of features to ensure a comfortable and safe journey for our engineers.’
The standard features that impressed Kaba Doors include: a side loading door that opens to over a metre wide; ABS with Electronic Differential Lock (EDL); a four speed heater / ventilation fan; and power assisted steering and large tinted windows. The LT is available in three wheelbases and with a choice of roof heights resulting in load volumes of up to 13.4m3. In addition, the entire LT range is powered by economical TDI diesel engines, including the potent 2.8 litre 158 PS unit.
The new LT35s were supplied by the North Midlands Van Centre in Walsall, part of Volkswagen’s national network of over 90 Van Centres.
