KJ Tait has provided the mechanical and electrical services for the Scottish Widows building currently under construction in Edinburgh.
The development includes 3 new office buildings, and will provide 200,000sq ft office space, as well as preserving the site’s original nineteenth century arches.
The consultancy also acted as BREEAM assessors for the project, designed by Cre8 Architecture and with civil and structural engineering by Faber Maunsell. One of the buildings has achieved BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and two have been achieved BREEAM ‘Very Good’ ratings.
The project is due for completion in March 2009.
