Hager’s relaunched Klik lighting support coupler includes new features for easier installation at height.

The Klik PCR lighting support coupler from Hager has been relaunched with a range of new features to make installation easier and more convenient for contractors.

The product is generally installed above head height, so the manufacturer concentrated its efforts on easing this process. The terminal size has been increased by 33% to make cable connection easier. In addition, the terminal entrance tapers to make it easier to feed in the wire and see it before and after connection.

Labelling of the terminals has been raised and set at an angle to make identification easier; the unit does not need to be twisted to see the labelling, so no stress is put on conductors. The terminal screws have large, slotted heads to ensure good conductor connection and all screws are the same size so a single screwdriver can be used for the entire installation.

Keyhole mounting slots retain the screw in place for tightening and provide flexibility for alignment with the ceiling box.

The coupler provides an electrical and mechanical connection for luminaires through its secure plug and socket interface. It has a click-in connection to ensure there is no chance of accidental withdrawal.
