First National, a leading provider of secured and unsecured personal finance, has appointed Mike Lawton to head up its Home Improvement and Holiday Ownership business. Mike will be responsible for leading the strategic growth and direction of the business.

Mike has worked in the finance and credit industry for 16 years and has over eight years experience with GE in a wide range of roles. Most recently, he successfully led the integration of the First National retail business into GE Consumer Finance. Prior to GE, Mike was with HFC Bank for seven years in a number of different positions including working in the Home Improvement sector.
