ESTA has selected six experts from different groups withing the association to answer your questions. They are:
Terry Casey, Building Controls Terry has been a leading figure in building management and control industry for the last 20 years. He has extensive experience in building automation and control, energy management, communications, open protocols and system integration.
Brian Chamberlain, Independent Energy Consultants Brian is a chartered engineer, Fellow and Past President of the Institute of Energy, as well as an ESTA Council member. He has worked in a variety of fields including industrial, commercial, renewables, and utility purchasing.
Dr Malcolm Addy, Local Controls Malcolm has been a technical director in energy efficient product companies for the last 25 years. Most recently he has focused on electronic controllers to reduce electricity consumption, particularly on drive systems.
Bill Gysin, Metering and Monitoring Bill has been in the metering and monitoring business since 1986. He has wealth of hands on experience of data acquisition for energy management and analysis software for automatic monitoring and targeting.
Chris Abson, Contract Energy Management Chris has a degree in fuel technology, and over 25 years' experience in energy efficiency and contract energy management in buildings for industrial, commercial and public sectors.
Malcolm Staff, Energy Efficient Drives Malcolm has 25 years' experience in the application of drives, variable speed drives and motors to building services applications, particularly for fans and pumps. He can advise on flow control, issues such as harmonics as well as whole life costing and the impact of the Climate Change Levy.
