Leeds council is to reballot tenants on a £45m private finance initiative scheme that they rejected earlier this year.
Nearly 54 per cent of tenants in the Little London and Woodhouse areas voted “no” to the scheme on a 67 per cent turnout (Housing Today, 14 March). But a post-ballot analysis found the majority of tenants in Little London actually voted ‘yes’ for PFI at 53 per cent, while the majority in Woodhouse voted against at 64 per cent.

The council is now working on a modified PFI proposal for Little London.
