ffice lighting at The Edge mixed-use development in Manchester is being controlled by passive infra-red occupancy detectors from CP Electronics.
The complex fronts the River Irwell in the city centre and was constructed by Carillion acting as main contractor for Countryside Properties. It will provide over 1700 m2 of offices on three levels, 275 flats and 774 m2 of retail space. The pir sensors were proposed by Axima Building Services to reduce the amount of wiring to the light switches.
