The winners were presented with their prizes at an event at the Park Lane Hotel, London on 20 March. Over 150 projects and product innovations were entered and the judges described the quality as ‘excellent’. All the shortlisted projects were individually assessed in site visits by the judges.
The Lighting Design Awards are organised by Emap and the Institution of Lighting Engineers and are supported by the Lighting Industry Federation. This year they were sponsored by Reggiani, Philips, Osram, Wila Lighting, Concord:marlin, DW Windsor, iLight, Hacel and Kingfisher.
Other supporting associations include the International Association of Lighting Designers and the Institution of Electrical Engineers.
