And this year's winner is.... Maurice Brill Lighting Design
The brief for the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai was to design a dramatic and unforgettable interior lighting scheme for the world's tallest hotel. The aim was also to create environmental contrasts: from the vastness of two interconnecting atriums to the undersea restaurant; to the high-tech projecting sky view restaurant at the top of the building.

Features of the award winning work by Maurice Brill Lighting Design include integration of the latest intelligent programmable projectors within the architectural fabric; choreography of lighting with water features; creation of an artificial sunset in the health club where there is no daylight.

And the runners up....
