London's National Maritime Museum has opened a planetarium as part of its Time and Space project. Designed by architects Allies and Morrison, the building is sunk into the landscape and distinguished by a 10m high bronze cone that is aligned with the North Star.

M&E systems for the project were designed by Arup and entailed designing integrated systems to achieve ambient comfort levels throughout the year a significant challenge due to space restrictions of the existing historic building structure as well as the high acoustic demands.
