An instructional video produced by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) advises property owners, specifiers, security and facilities managers on the measures they might take to secure their businesses.

The video – ‘Safeguarding Your Business’ – clearly illustrates the message that crime hurts. The pain isn’t merely financial: it damages your business, your staff, your customers and your community.

With this in mind, the video covers risk assessments, the various elements that make up a security system (which can be physical or electronic protection devices), and how a business can be sure that a security product will function when called upon to do so.
