Abloy DiskLock Pro cylinder locks and padlocks are being used throughout the UK by Kingston Communications – the provider of secure voice, data, video, mobile, wireless and storage solutions to businesses and public sector organisations – to protect its essential telecommunications and network switch systems.
Although the company’s sites include a number of headquarters and regional office buildings, the majority house local telecommunications and network exchanges/systems. Those systems control the voice and data networks for banks and many businesses, and thus security is necessary to prevent malicious damage and planned sabotage.
Abloy Security’s DiskLock Pro cylinder mechanisms deployed in the padlocks and door locks are said to be “virtually pick-proof”, and constructed such that they are almost impossible to drill.
