Tour & Andersson is launching TA Aqua+, a water-cleansing system that is designed to eliminate Legionella bacteria and the bio film that feeds it, including pseudomonas.

The system uses a technology called advanced oxidation process to eliminate organisms such as Legionella as well as eradicate bio-film in pipes, break down combined chlorine, reduce turbidity and help prevent corrosion in pipes. It has no moving parts, requires no chemicals or additives and can be retrofitted to existing systems.

Stand F16

TS Luckins

TS Luckins is exhibiting its full range of software and database services for M&E contractors and installers, including Software Toolcase, an estimating system for building services installation projects. Designed for ease of use, this includes modules for enquiry management, valuations and variations pricing.

The Small Works system for smaller contractors and Traser, an electronic price book available in different versions to suit the needs of manufacturers, distributors, installers and end users, will also be on display.

Stand C16

Ý VIESSMANN

Viessmann will be showing a wide range of condensing boilers at the event, including the Vitodens 200. Key to the range, this is available in both system and combi versions, and a modulating output from 8.8 kW to 26 kW with an efficiency of 96% giving a SEDBUK A rating.

The unit uses a stainless steel heat exchanger while weather compensation control is available as an optional plug-in.

Stand E2

Yorkshire Fittings

The latest addition to the Proflow range of commercial valves will be on display at Yorkshire Fitting’s stand. The Proflow Modular valve system is designed for use in conjunction with fan coil units in commercial buildings.

Also on display will be the company’s Xpress heat-free press-fit jointing system. The range comprises Xpress Stainless Steel and Xpress Carbon Steel fittings with tube sizes of between 15 mm and 108 mm, Xpress Copper fittings for use with copper tube in sizes from 15– 108 mm and Xpress Gas fittings for use with copper tube in sizes from 15–54 mm.

Stand F20

Ý HellermannTyton

New products on display at HellermannTyton’s stand at the event include Rapidnet, the company’s pre-terminated structured cabling solution. The plug-and-play system does not require on-site termination or certification and is claimed to reduce installation time by up to 75%. It addresses issues such as quality control, consistent repeatable terminations and labour. Designed to work in a standard 19-inch rack, it supports all networks using any media from Category 5e and 6 copper through to OM1, OM2, OM3 and OS1 optical fibre. A number of flexible termination options are available, including end-to-end patented cassettes, floor, ceiling and floor box options, as well as open-ended assemblies.

Stand E7

Ý Marshall-Tufflex

Cable management products on display from Marshall-Tufflex include its latest Sterling Mono Plus 20 Aluminium, Sterling Power Poles, steel trunking systems, real wood trunking, specialised applications and medical service units.

Stand C20

Hoval

Hoval is exhibiting its range of biomass boilers and solar energy products, including the new Biolyt biomass boiler, which is designed to operate similarly to a pressure jet boiler. It achieves a claimed 90% efficiency using wood pellets. Hoval has several systems already running in the UK, with capacities ranging from 100 kW to 800 kW.

Stand D12

IFI Fire

IFI Fire will be exhibiting its Rapidrop range of flexible connections for fire sprinklers. The first flexible system to be approved by the LPCB, the connections offer an alternative to traditional rigid pipe armover installations. Benefits of the flexible system include eliminating the need for on-site cutting, threading and welding, so reducing labour and on-site mess and waste.

Stand C25

CPV

CPV is exhibiting its CPV-Zurn chemical waste drainage system. Designed specifically for safe conveyance and containment of laboratory and chemical effluents, it is manufactured from block copolymer polypropylene, which is very stiff and has good resistant to crushing. It complies with ASTM 1412, the standard for chemical and corrosive drainage, and incorporates electrofusion/mechanical fitting.

Stand C15

Vimpex

Vimpex will be exhibiting its Fire-Cryer multi-message voice enhanced sounders. Suitable for residential through to industrial applications, the sounders are designed for installation on standard fire alarm sounder circuits and can broadcast four messages using just two wires. Any four-message combination can be specified and selected, either automatically or manually, at the fire control panel.

Fire-Cryer can be retrofitted to existing installations, the units can be fully synchronised and have low current consumption, allowing simple replacement of existing sounders.

Stand A4a

Þ Nuaire

Nuaire will use the exhibition to launch the Opus X Box heat recovery unit. The 185 mm deep unit is suitable for applications where space is at a premium. It features easy-to-remove heat exchanger block and filters and a single-point fixing bracket with anti-vibration strip to help make installation easier.

The Opus X Box has inbuilt Ecosmart controls. Pre-plugged sensors and controls simply plug directly into the unit – supply and extract then respond accordingly. The unit has a low- watt DC motor and the company claims that heat recovery in excess of 70% is possible.
