Tavcom Training has appointed Kevin Matthew, former sales and marketing manager of CBC (Europe) as its new operations manager.

Operations manager is a newly created role at Tavcom, and Matthew will be responsible for co-ordinating the efforts of its tutors, technicians and administrative personnel, and releasing other managerial staff to invest more time in their own areas. Tavcom’s Mike Tennent said the company is entering a period of unprecedented growth.

As well as experience in the sales and marketing of security systems, Matthew has a sound knowledge of radio communications and visual signalling acquired during his service with the Royal Navy. During his service career, Matthew had tours of duty aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia, and at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Whitehall.
