The Ministry of Defence (MoD) Guard Service ANNUAL DOG trials recently took place at Gibraltar Barracks in Minley, Surrey, at which handler Gary Claxton and his dog Duval – representing ATR Lichfield – were crowned Trial Champions.
The Guard Service provides unrivalled unarmed security to the MoD, manning control points, preventing entry by unauthorised personnel onto MoD sites and carrying out regular dog patrols to make sure that locations remain 100% secure. Operating at 198 sites nationwide, the operation employs 3,900 dedicated civilian security officers.
