IndigoVision and Visimetrics have formed a technology partnership agreement to bring ‘true networking capability’ to digital CCTV systems. Visimetrics will develop software system applications based on IndigoVision’s Live Networked Video technology.
The partnership will enable IndigoVision’s scaleable VideoBridge product to be linked with Visimetric’s OCTAR Net enabling remote access digital video recording over Ethernet networks.

Alastair McLeod, managing director of Visimetrics, said: “Accessing recordings, viewing cameras live and controlling cameras from remote sites is now a common requirement.”

The new partnership provides seamless integration and expansion between conventional OCTAR digital recording and networked digital recording, resulting in a system that can be controlled and replayed from a single user interface.
