ECA East Midlands regional manager Chris Harvey (left) inspects 500 young trees planted two years ago to mark the branch’s centenary. The trees are part of the National Forest Company’s initiative to create new forest and woodlands over 200 square miles of the East Midlands. Carol Rowntree Jones, media relations officer for the National Forest Company (right) said: “The involvement of organisations such as the ECA has been invaluable to us, particularly when members come out and help with the planting.”
