Security Management Today’s (SMT) Editorial Advisory Board has been boosted by the addition of four new members – Mike Bluestone, Bob Holmwood, Michael Jasper and Stephen Clark.

The Editorial Advisory Board comprises industry practitioners from all sectors, including consultancy, in-house and contract security management, insurance, the police service and academia who help frame the editorial package in the wake of regular discussion group meetings led by SMT’s editor Brian Sims.

Mike Bluestone has held several senior positions in security management, having been head of security for the Community Security Trust. The holder of a Masters Degree in Security Management awarded by Loughborough University, Mike is an associate of the University’s Centre for Hazard and Risk Management and is now heading up his own consultancy, Integra Security Solutions.

Bob Holmwood is principal security consultant at Buro Happold ITAC. He joined the company this year to offer business continuity and event response planning dimensions to major master plan and building developments. Bob is currently the chairman of the British Institute of Facilities Management’s (BIFM) Special Interest Group for Security and Business Continuity.

Michael Jasper is head of risk management at The British Library, where he holds a corporate responsibility for risk management, business continuity, security and Health and Safety. Michael’s background is in the Metropolitan Police, but he has since been employed in the security industry for over 26 years in both the private and public sectors.

Stephen Clark is technical manager in the risk control division of leading insurer Royal & Sun Alliance. Based at the company’s Manchester offices, Stephen replaces Byron Miller of the Association of British Insurers on the Editorial Board.
