A new partnership has been formed between Parchment Housing and the Guinness Trust Group.
The Guinness Trust said it wanted the Hampshire-based housing association to "retain [its] autonomy but also benefit from the advantages of belonging to a large national housing group".Care provider Heritage Care has been 'de-merged' from the English Churches Housing Group to become an independent care provider. It will continue to work alongside English Churches providing care services for older people.
"The partnership will bring many benefits to both organisations," said Guinness chief executive Simon Dow. "The synergy between the two organisations will allow us to deliver more effective services to our residents."
"This new partnership makes the most of ECHG's expertise and Heritage Care's strong track record in providing a quality care service," said group chief executive Peter Walters.
