Will Burr has been appointed training and technical support engineer at Honeywell Access Systems, the world’s largest supplier of access control systems.

Burr previously worked at Westinghouse, and was a senior development engineer for SDA Protec PLC, where he worked with Honeywell’s access systems for five years.

- Tony Greig is the new CEO of Legrand Electric’s UK operations.

Greig has worked for Legrand for over 20 years, and for the last eight years ran Legrand Minitronics, the group’s Australian emergency lighting subsidiary.

He has also held a number of senior sales, marketing and general management positions within the group, notably in France and Canada.

He holds a marketing degree, and has experience of cable management solutions through his time as sales director for Planet Wattohm in France, a European leader in electrical extrusions.

- Miwa Lock Co Ltd has appointed Ted Kayama as its new general manager responsible for all the company’s overseas sales and marketing activities.

He was previously European sales manager with Panasonic, responsible for sales of CCTV products and technology to major customers in Europe and the USA.

The new position will see Kayama responsible for all activities in the European and North American markets, with all Miwa sales staff in both regions reporting directly to him.
