Collaborating for the Built Environment (Be) has launched a set of training courses on ‘collaborative working’
The new training courses were developed in response to a call from the Strategic Forum to make collaborative working a

reality. Be is an independent supply chain body, whose members span the property and construction supply chain from clients to product suppliers.

Kevin Thomas, chairman of Be’s collaborative working group, says: “Change has been slow. While most of the industry has heard the rhetoric knowing how to put it into practice has lagged behind. This training package, in conjunction with the Strategic Forum toolkit, ensures people are fully up to speed with the process.”

Sir Michael Latham welcomed the launch, saying: “This is a very significant personnel development programme. It develops all vital skills with guidance for clients and industry to move towards collaborative working best practice.”
