1980s City landmark set for £100m makeover

Bishopsgate block drawn up by SOM more than three decades ago

Fletcher Priest’s plans to dramatically overhaul SOM’s 175 Bishopsgate building in the City of London have been recommended for approval.

The proposals, developed by LaSalle Investment Management and M3 Consulting on behalf of Malaysian investor PNB and thought to be worth around £100m, will see the block’s two main facades rebuilt in a different style to the rest of the building.
