D5 Architects has applied for planning permission for this £6.5m development of North East Worcestershire College in Redditch.
Occupying three floors, the 4000 m2 building is connected to the existing college building by a first-floor glazed refectory. The new building will contain a learning resource centre and reception area as well as accommodating a silver service restaurant, multipurpose function room and nursery. Project manager is Landmark Consultants, quantity surveyor is Thornton-Firkin, structural engineer is Shire Associates and Landscape Matters is landscape architect.
