Supermarket group Asda launched a £450m building and renovation programme this week, which will include the construction of 9 superstores in the UK
The Wal-Mart-owned chain is to build stores at Bodmin, Cornwall; Cambridge; Hull; Dumbarton; Dunstable, Bedfordshire; Hyde, Greater Manchester; Sefton, Merseyside; Leyton, east London; and Swindon, Wiltshire. It is also refurbishing stores at Coventry, and resiting stores at Cwmbran, south Wales and Peterlee, County Durham.
