M&E contractor Emcor Drake & Scull has completed work on 30 Gresham Street in the heart of the City of London. The development spans a two-storey glazed entrance lobby, 10 office floors, two of which have been designed to accommodate trading floors, and a roof terrace. Contracted to Sir Robert McAlpine for client developer Land Securities, Emcor was responsible for design development and for the co-ordination and installation of the mechanical, electrical and public health services. The entire construction phase, including commissioning, lasted 72 weeks.
