More than 1,200 guests were at the Grosvenor House hotel on Thursday night for the 15th Building Awards

Comedian Alexander Armstrong and musician Myleene Klass (pictured) handed out the trophies, three of which went to architect Allford Hall Monaghan Morris. Wates’ boss Paul Drechsler took the Chief Executive of the Year award and the group was named Major Contractor of the Year. Liverpool One, by Grosvenor Estates and Laing O’Rourke, won Project of the Year. The full results will be in next week’s magazine.
