Deal with Accord includes sale of 50% stake in Accord Jarvis.
Jarvis has announced that it is close to selling its Highway Maintenance business to Accord.
The deal will include Jarvis' 80% shareholding in Herefordshire Jarvis Services, a venture with Herefordshire Council, and its 50% interest in Accord Jarvis.
The proposed transaction is subject to due diligence, contractual documentation, Jarvis lender consent and could be conditional on Jarvis shareholder approval.
Jarvis said its Roads division will retain its core 'Prismo' branded businesses and Somerford Equipment.
