Flowcrete UK has launched an acoustic flooring solution for new-build and refurbished commercial and domestic buildings.
Isocrete Acoustic K comes under a “one-stop shop” format, where the acoustic resilient layer and screed is installed as a complete system on site by just one trained applicator.
The company says independent test results show it achieved results well in excess of the requirements set out by Approved Document E of the Building Regulations 2003. It also offers a reduced screed thickness and enables the early installation of sensitive finishes, such as vinyl and tiles, over the substrate, as well as being approved by the British Board of Agrément. Acoustic K can be used in conjunction with Flowcrete’s Isowarm underfloor heating system to produce warm environments without the need for radiators.
