£100m framework covers technical services to help build 300,000 homes a year

Arcadis, Aecom and Mace are among 20 firms named by the government as suppliers on a £100m Homes England framework for consultants.

The deal, which lasts from 2019 to 2023, covers a range of technical services including project and cost management, engineering design, architecture and landscape design, planning and property advisory services.

Firms will help support the government’s stated ambition to deliver up to 300,000 new homes annually by the mid-2020s.

Louise Brooke-Smith, Arcadis’ UK head of development and strategic planning at Arcadis, said: “With Homes England, our focus will be on developing completely integrated, fully investable masterplans that are not just financially viable, but also provide attractive, high quality environments.”

Arcadis is currently working on a number of schemes including a housing regeneration programme with Croydon council’s development arm, Brick-by-Brick, and the Digbeth Canal Corridor Regeneration Masterplan in Birmingham.
