Distinctively clad structure is part of £130m city-centre development St Paul’s Place

A new £16m multistorey car park, designed by architect Allies & Morrison, has opened in the heart of Sheffield.

The distinctive cladding system is made of a series of aluminium panels mounted in four different directions, resulting in a pattern that creates a varying texture of light and shadow.

It is one part of the St Paul’s Place development, a £130m mixed-use scheme comprising a hotel, office space, restaurants and landscaped squares incorporating public artwork.
