Arcadis raids Aecom for new digital chief

Arcadis has appointed David Glennon as its UK head of digital.

Glennon (pictured), who has a CV stretching back 20 years in the construction industry, joins from Aecom where he was in charge of the firm’s digital strategy across Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. He has also worked for Mott MacDonald and Lendlease.

Arcadis said the appointment was part of a three digital strategy which it wants in place by 2020.

Peter Madden, UK chief operating officer at Arcadis, said: “David is a key strategic appointment and signals our intent to expand our digital capabilities across all sectors.

”As new technologies come to the fore, it will become increasingly important to ensure that our business is equipped for this new digital age.”
