Argent chief executive Roger Madelin won the regeneration leadership award at the 2007 Regeneration Awards this week for his work to regenerate King’s Cross.

Higgins was named Regeneration Contractor of the Year and was also recipient of the Best Community Regeneration Project award. Urban Splash also picked up two awards, for regeneration developer of the year and regeneration partnership.

Other award winners included housebuilder Midas Homes, Pollard Thomas Edwards Architects, and housing association Newlon.
