Britain's latest centre for the visual and performing arts has been opened at Oxford House in Bethnal Green, east London. The £2m Oh!art facility, the work of All Clear Designs, is an 770 m2 extension to a Victorian building. When it opens in July, it will provide a 180-seat dance and performing arts space, dressing rooms and a cafe bar. The 260 m2 art gallery (pictured) forms the main entrance to the building. The project team included structural engineer Alan Conisbee & Associates, QS Boyden, M&E engineer Atelier 10 and acoustician Paul Gillieron Acoustic Design.
