Gemma Prior arrives after year in similar role at Thomas & Adamson 

Atkins Réalis has appointed Gemma Prior as its new head of cost management for London and the South-east.

Prior, who started her new role yesterday, has joined from Scottish consultant Thomas & Adamson having been appointed to the same role at that firm last February.

In a post on Linked In, she said: “I feel incredibly lucky to be inheriting such a large and strong team. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone, and over the next few weeks my focus will be on listening, learning and getting to know the people and the work.”

Gemma Prior is in charge of Atkins Réalis’s cost management business for London and the South-east

Prior has more than two decades of experience in the industry, holding previous senior positions at Currie & Brown and Aecom before spending five years at RLB ahead of joining Thomas & Adamson.

T&A was bought by French engineering giant Egis in May 2024 and Prior’s appointment was part of a plan to expand its operations in London.
