Hotel-led development will be built near the Cotai tourist strip in Macau

Atkins has unveiled designs for a wing-shaped hotel-led development in Macau, China.

The Huarong Hengqin Tower will be built in a new economic zone, near the popular Cotai tourist strip in the region.

The mixed-use development will contain a 5-star hotel, offices and retail facilities.

Atkins’ design director, Ian Milne, said: “The towers are orientated to provide hotel guests and office users with stunning views of significant landmarks in Macau, while respecting the development potential and view corridors of adjacent sites.”
