Contractor wins nine-year contract for Ireland gas network

Balfour Beatty has been awarded a £414m nine-year contract by the Bord Gais Networks in the Republic of Ireland.

The contract is for the installation and maintenance of gas transmission and distribution networks across Ireland.

Work will commence early in the new year.
