Joint venture with Mott MacDonald signs for five-year deal in the South-west

InterRoute, a joint venture between Balfour Beatty and Mott MacDonald, has won a £400 million contract to manage and maintain motorways and trunk roads in the south west of England. The five-year contract covers roads in Dorset, Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. Balfour Beatty will be responsible for resurfacing, bridge refurbishment and gritting roads in the winter.

Through its subsidiary RCS, which is the main shareholder in InterRoute, Balfour Beatty already has contracts to maintain roads in Worcestershire, Bedfordshire, Hampshire, North Yorkshire, Wokingham and Westminster.
