The administrator of Banner Holdings, the £13.2m-turnover Derbyshire contractor that collapsed last week, will look next week at which of the firm’s contracts could be sold off

Banner’s contracts include the £2.5m refurbishment of the Harbor Hill sports facility for Derby university. Paul Llewellyn, at administrator Bell Advisory, said he would be “focusing on how to realise value in Banner’s contracts”.

Although it is not known which firms might take over the contracts, a former Banner director, Paul Nowel, set up a firm called Banner Management Solutions on 25 May.

Banner collapsed a year after it was ejected from work on the Rafael Viñoly-designed Colchester Visual Arts Facility.
