Residential-led plans for Samara include 5,000 apartments as well as office and retail

Multi-disciplinary consultant BDP has unveiled a 12ha masterplan for Russia’s sixth largest city, Samara.

The residential-led “Samara Centre” plan comprises 5,000 apartments, a 300-place kindergarten, retail and leisure, mid-rise office buildings, a hotel and central administration building.

The Samara Centre sits in the heart of the city and occupies former industrial land.
