WSP’s American engineering consultant WSP Flack+Kurtz has revealed ambitious plans for a 65,000-seat football stadium in Basra

WSP Flack+Kurtz is working with US architect 360 Architecture on the $500m stadium, which is scheduled to open for the 2013 Gulf Cup. The scheme, which is funded by the Iraqi government, will also include a 10,000-seat practice stadium.
