Nine futuristic beach huts will be built as part of a Bathing Beauties exhibition in Lincolnshire for Architecture Week
Future Factories, i-am associates and Thurgood Hobson Design have been shortlisted in an international competition to design a modern-day beach hut.
Nine winning designs will be built to full scale at an exhibition entitled “Bathing Beauties – Re-imagining the Beach Hut for the 21st Century”. The exhibition, which will also include more than a hundred other models of beach huts, will be staged at the Hub: National Centre for Craft & Design in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, from 15 June, to mark the start of Architecture Week.
