Architect wins design competition for mixed use development in Sichuan province

Architect Benoy has won an international design competition for a new mixed-use development in the city of Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, China.

Benoy has been appointed architect and masterplanner for the scheme for Greenland Group, which will comprise five residential towers, three commercial towers, serviced apartments, hotel, retail podium and outdoor pedestrian shopping street.

Greenland Group recently purchased six separate plots of land to form the 86,000m2 site in Chengdu on which the development will be built.
