Bids have been invited for four stations, worth a total of £950m, on the government’s Crossrail project

Contracts for Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Liverpool Street and Whitechapel stations have all been advertised as part of an overall £950m package.

Bond Street station is set to cost £200m, Tottenham Court Road £200m, Liverpool Street £300m and Whitechapel £250m. Works are expected to take up to 72 months (six years) at Whitechapel.

Each contract includes design, civils and building work, including design and commissioning of all station M&E and architectural fit-out.

Firms will be allowed to bid for one or more station projects and submit alternative money-saving bids. The deadline for those intending to bid is 12pm on Valentine’s Day, 14 February.
