Firms will help with £27.5bn in road projects over the next four years

Costain, Arup and WSP are among 11 firms to have won spots on a £300m Highways England consultancy framework.

The Specialist Professional and Technical Services (SPaTS2) framework will help Highways England deliver £27.5bn in road works over the next four years. It will replace the first SPaTS framework.

The framework will run for four years

Arup, Atkins, Aecom, Arcadis, WSP and Turner & Townsend will all be carried over onto the new framework. But Mott MacDonald and Faithful & Gould have lost their places.

Highways England said it will soon be advertising a tender for a Commercial & Project Management Services Framework to replace other parts of the original framework.
