Architect Gensler has revealed this image of Blackpool’s bid for a supercasino.
The US firm has been appointed masterplanner and architect for the proposed conference and casino quarter. The 1.7 million ft2 development, which will include a hotel, 3000-seat conference centre, retail outlets and entertainment facilities, is viewed as a crucial part of the £1.4bn masterplan to transform Blackpool. The plans will be submitted for outline planning approval in early August.
