Bloomberg has signed a deal to build a new European headquarters close to the Bank of England in London.
According to the Financial Times, Bloomberg is set to build the bespoke office complex on the former Bucklersbury House site owned by insurer Legal and General. The site is being demolished to make way for the development.
London-based architects Foster & Partners has been chosen to design the scheme, the FT said. The deal could be announced as early as this week.
Office space is expected to be as large as 500,000ft2 to accommodate Bloomberg’s expanding operations.
