Aidan Kehoe to leave the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS trust in March

The man in charge of the NHS trust behind the construction of the new Liverpool hospital hit by Carillion’s collapse has announced he will be stepping down in March.

Aidan Kehoe has announced that he is leaving the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS trust to take up the role of chief executive at the Hamad General Hospital in Doha, Qatar.

Kehoe was left to deal with the fallout of Carillion’s collapse last January, which left the new Royal Liverpool hospital at a standstill for close to 11 months.
