Hopkins-designed scheme given planning last year

Bouygues is set to build the £70m new home of Bath university’s school of management.

The firm has been handed the £40m main construction contract to build the new facility.

Hopkins designed the building, which was given planning approval in July last year.

The new facility is set to includes a "student entrepreneurship lab" to aid students in efforts to create businesses, a behavioural research lab for those studying consumer behaviour alongside other teaching spaces, including a suite for MBA students.

The building will open for the 2020/2021 academic year.
